"The European Union as a Global Player", 5 May 2021: We are very proud to host an exclusive digital #EuropeDay2021 celebration! With the opening speech of our Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Sinanoğlu @sinanoglu_ms, twelfth Jean Monnet Chair COAWARE at Istanbul 29 Mayıs Univesity event will be a webinar welcoming very distinguished guest speakers with keynote address by Ms. Federica Mogherini (Rector, College of Europe; Former High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission and Italy’s Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation).

The webinar will reflect upon the issue of the potential of the European Union as a Global Actor based on the views and experiences of the very distinguished speakers and discuss what may be the bureucratic, institutional, political and other impediments to that role.
